Rome's a two-time zone trip for most of our clubs — a proper footballing city (AS Roma and Lazio both play here) with the Colosseum, the Vatican and the rest of it sitting within a short bus ride of wherever you're staying. It's one of the few tours where the sightseeing genuinely competes with the football for attention, and most squads end up doing both properly.

Fixtures spread across the visit with time set aside for the squad to see some of the city between matches — a free afternoon works well here given how much there is within reach.
